Wellington Anniversary Weekend

What did everyone get up to on their long weekend? I thought that i would head into Wellington,NZ to see if anything interesting was going.
I found everything to be very very quiet, the city that is buzzing during the week turned out to be like a ghost town!

I drove around town looking for things to photograph in between avoiding getting saturated by the constant rain. Here are some of the places & people that i came across.
Man unhappily waiting for the bus
Busker playing on Lambton Quay.

Parliament building

Old fashion Tory street sign
Oriental Parade and one of it's locals out for a run despite the miserable weather

It is very rare that you come across these pay & display machines, it reminds me of the days when parking only costed $2 instead of $4.

Wakefeild street with it's graffiti.
